Brian J. Mersman has been with The Lambert Firm (now Lambert Zainey Smith & Soso) since 2018. Brian was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and grew up spending summers on the lake and winters playing ice hockey. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland to attend the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, where he played hockey for three years. After Maryland, he moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University Law School, where he graduated in 2018 with a certificate in Maritime Law. Since his admission to the Louisiana Bar, Brian’s practice has been focused on environmental, maritime, and personal injury litigation.
Brian is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and the U.S. District for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers, and the Federal Bar Association.
