Brian J. Mersman joined Lambert Zainey Smith & Soso in 2018 and has since focused his practice on fighting for clients in complex maritime, environmental, and personal injury litigation.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Brian moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University Law School, one of the nation’s premier institutions for maritime law. He graduated in 2018 with a specialized Certificate in Maritime Law, giving him a distinct and foundational understanding of the unique statutes and doctrines that govern injuries on the water.

Since his admission to the Louisiana Bar, Brian has applied his focused legal training and dedicated work ethic to representing individuals harmed by the negligence of others. He is a skilled advocate who is committed to securing justice for his clients.
