The American Association for Justice (AAJ) is the leading organization of plaintiff lawyers. The organization was founded in 1946 by nine plaintiff attorneys with a common mission to combat the threats facing trial lawyers across the United States. Today, AAJ is the world’s largest trial bar, composed of an international group of attorneys, law professors, paralegals, and law students. AAJ’s mission is to promote justice and fairness for injured persons, safeguard victims’ rights—particularly the right to trial by jury—and strengthen the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public health and safety.
AAJ Winter Convention 2014
Each year, the American Association for Justice hosts two members-only conventions that offer plaintiff attorneys the opportunity to attend educational programs, committee meetings, caucus gatherings, litigation group symposiums and social events. Both the annual summer convention and the winter convention features more than 300 events over five exciting days, including a lineup of political speakers, professional networking events, CLE programs and dynamic exhibits where attorneys can gain valuable knowledge, build business connections and stay ahead of the curve when it comes to the latest developments in their practice areas.
This year’s AAJ Winter Convention kicks off this Saturday, February 8, right here in New Orleans. AAJ members from across the nation will enjoy the unique New Orleans culture while attending what is sure to be the educational and networking event of the year. Lambert Zainey accident attorneys are proud members of AAJ and are looking forward to attending this year’s convention and welcoming members of AAJ from across the nation to the city of New Orleans. Laissez le bons temps rouler!
